{"id":1109,"date":"2015-03-25T20:29:15","date_gmt":"2015-03-25T20:29:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/marcmangel.net\/?page_id=1109"},"modified":"2015-03-25T20:29:15","modified_gmt":"2015-03-25T20:29:15","slug":"tetzaveh-5773","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/marcmangel.net\/?page_id=1109","title":{"rendered":"Tetzaveh (5773)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Drash Cards for Tetzaveh (5773)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>by Marc Mangel<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Last week we learned that it took about 35 verses to create the world but about 450 to describe the Mishkan. \u00a0This week there are 42 verses about the clothing for Aaron and his sons. \u00a0 What are we to learn from this?<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Clothes make the man &#8212; and you heard it first in the Torah.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 But then, in Ch 29, v 4-7 Moshe washes (Rashi says total immersion) and anoints them, which seems a bit subservient for the greatest prophet ever.
