Spring Comes<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Spring comes<\/p>\n

It blusters in with shouts of wind<\/p>\n

and slaps of cold to<\/p>\n

remind you that sunshine<\/p>\n

alone doesn’t<\/p>\n

make summer<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Little girls whose once tanned faces<\/p>\n

are now so pale<\/p>\n

revel in spring<\/p>\n

they’d run naked if we let<\/p>\n

them<\/p>\n

they’d swim in rain puddles<\/p>\n

and eat mud pie<\/p>\n

they seem to suffer a<\/p>\n

nearly fatal case of<\/p>\n

spring fever<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dogs run in spring<\/p>\n

to feel the wind on their faces<\/p>\n

dogs lie in spring<\/p>\n

to feel a warm sun<\/p>\n

heat their winter coat<\/p>\n

that’s yet to fall off<\/p>\n

Dogs dance a special<\/p>\n

dance in spring<\/p>\n

a love of life and all<\/p>\n

things good<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The woman I love is<\/p>\n

most beautiful in<\/p>\n

spring<\/p>\n

when the earth comes<\/p>\n

alive again<\/p>\n

she too<\/p>\n

smiles a new smile of life<\/p>\n

and fills my heart with<\/p>\n

gladness<\/p>\n
