It\u2019s Hard to Be Almost Three<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard, so hard, to be almost three.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard because everyone has more words<\/p>\n

Where do they get them?<\/p>\n

Or worse, they don\u2019t understand my word<\/p>\n

Where did it come<\/u> from?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard, so hard, \u00a0to be almost three<\/p>\n

Because everyone has longer legs<\/p>\n

They walk faster<\/p>\n

They reach things better<\/p>\n

And hide<\/u> things where I cannot get them!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard to be almost three<\/p>\n

And need to have a nap<\/p>\n

When nobody else does<\/p>\n

Why are they<\/u> not tired?<\/p>\n

And when I sleep — that\u2019s when all the good stuff happens<\/p>\n

I am sure of that!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard, so hard, to be almost three<\/p>\n

When sprinkles come at breakfast<\/p>\n

And I know<\/u> that I need more<\/p>\n

Even though the food may \u2018just look fine\u2019!<\/p>\n

What do they know of sprinkles?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard to be almost three<\/p>\n

When in the car there is a shout<\/p>\n

\u201cHey, look at that!!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

And all I see is the side of my car seat!!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard, so hard, \u00a0to be almost three<\/p>\n

And see Asher become a Grant Grizzly<\/p>\n

How cool is that!<\/p>\n

But now to have to go to school myself<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Yes, it\u2019s hard, so hard, to be almost three.<\/p>\n

But tomorrow, I\u2019ll be three<\/p>\n

Then things will be better, I am sure of that!<\/p>\n

But still, perhaps\u2026.<\/p>\n

\u2026perhaps one day it will be hard to be almost four!<\/p>\n
