 <\/p>\n

I’m sitting here away from you<\/p>\n

so many things I’d like to do<\/p>\n

to touch your hair<\/p>\n

and kiss your eyes<\/p>\n

walk with you under sunny skies<\/p>\n

but you’re not here<\/p>\n

so far away and I must<\/p>\n

wait for another day.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Down below they’re playing poker<\/p>\n

I’d join them but<\/p>\n

I’d be the joker<\/p>\n

miscued cards and lousy bets<\/p>\n

cause my mind’s so far away<\/p>\n

and I must<\/p>\n

wait for another day.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Lake Arrowhead gots a chain link fence<\/p>\n

surrounding it with no trespassing signs<\/p>\n

sprouting like pine needles<\/p>\n

There’s a fence around my heart as they say<\/p>\n

a trip by plane til I get t you<\/p>\n

and I’ll be there on another day<\/p>\n
