Shabbat, January 1973<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Softly. Softly the clouds winkle their way<\/p>\n

down under. From somewhere above<\/p>\n

they come and envelope us. Without pain or trouble.<\/p>\n

So that soon our minds float<\/p>\n

in the<\/p>\n

clound that lie upon the<\/p>\n

hills and<\/p>\n

touch the tops everywhere<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Above another layer. Fierce and succulent<\/p>\n

the two battle<\/p>\n

David and Goliath<\/p>\n

for the spot<\/p>\n

numero uno.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The soft clouds are friends.<\/p>\n

Quiet and loyal friends<\/p>\n

for those<\/p>\n

of us who need<\/p>\n

some water for the<\/p>\n

brain.
\nPretty shortly ocherous and cold<\/p>\n

yet warm the sun<\/p>\n

will plunge into that very warm<\/p>\n

and the light will die<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As the light dims<\/p>\n

the air sweetness<\/p>\n

lightens<\/p>\n

the air from heaven<\/p>\n

a gift from<\/p>\n

heaven<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And slowly floats in the Shabbat<\/p>\n

quietly Shabbat comes<\/p>\n

softly<\/p>\n

full of majesty<\/p>\n

and coolness<\/p>\n

when<\/p>\n

heat is unbearable<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Shabbat can so often bend your<\/p>\n

mind into happiness<\/p>\n

and show what is there<\/p>\n

if only given a chance<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
