 <\/p>\n

New sun rising in the morning sky<\/p>\n

New life begins with a tiny cry<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The air is crisp and the sky is blue<\/p>\n

The young one has a lovely hue<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Walking in the morning sun<\/p>\n

It’s hard to believe what’s been done<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A baby girl to call our own<\/p>\n

Has joined and blessed our home<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But time passes quickly, it’s so hard to tell<\/p>\n

And young ones grow and learn so well<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And now you sit, blond hair, blue eyes<\/p>\n

A beautiful young woman, not to my surprise<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Seventeen years, so many suns rising<\/p>\n

Seventeen years, gone like birds flying<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Today you’re older now, bolder in your years<\/p>\n

Today you’re older now, but why does it bring tears?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
