Tonight We Buried the Doby Gillis Generation<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Tonite we buried the Doby Gillis generation<\/p>\n

and all alone we were<\/p>\n

without so large an acolade as a box of Coco crispie<\/p>\n

spilled on hard cement to crunch as the<\/p>\n

precession trudged<\/p>\n

and burried did we do<\/p>\n

under a gof of tear from parents long<\/p>\n

since removed but still still hoping to<\/p>\n

regain<\/p>\n

that dearness lost so slowly<\/p>\n

or too quickly affected to be hastened<\/p>\n

For the Doby Gillis generation<\/p>\n

though we all once get around<\/p>\n

has died<\/p>\n

Like the first and the final<\/p>\n

innocence<\/p>\n

which died in the garden it too died in vast<\/p>\n

gardens and foliages far from the Garden<\/p>\n

but close to it.<\/p>\n

But it also died in steel and glass and<\/p>\n

smell of vomit<\/p>\n

sweat offices closer to the home<\/p>\n

and it also died in the dear place of Doby<\/p>\n

himself as if<\/p>\n

choked to death by the ivy and<\/p>\n

simultaneously kicked in the groin the<\/p>\n

army boots of MAYNARD G.<\/p>\n

left hanging and left lied to and left died was<\/p>\n

the Doby Gillis generation<\/p>\n

indeed so died the Beaver in another<\/p>\n

sawmp of the fruit called lead<\/p>\n

has died all alone<\/p>\n

but are we to blame that in<\/p>\n

the world the real may sometimes overcome<\/p>\n

that which should be<\/p>\n

and McCartney spilled his bowl of cherries<\/p>\n

the tree was dead a long time agao<\/p>\n

we buried it<\/p>\n

among the billion of miles of cellulose tape<\/p>\n

more miles than there are galaxies in<\/p>\n

infinity<\/p>\n

and for each mile so so much was lied<\/p>\n

to keep the joys of innocence<\/p>\n

tonite we buried the first<\/p>\n

innocence<\/p>\n

of the celluloid generation which<\/p>\n

rose to overcome challenges that<\/p>\n

never were<\/p>\n
