That Wall

Have you ever been at that wall

that wall standing alone

dripping of generations

 

have you every prayed at that wall

that wall so high and mighty

yet so humble filled

by the fillers of wish

 

have you ever danced at that wall

that wall wishing it could dance

petrified by time

 

have you ever sung at that wall

had your voice lost in time

to the wall of

eternity

 

have you ever felt at that wall

a pain deep yet not

a pain to burn the soul

 

have you ever met God at that wall

and known for once
