Cold Nights
by Marc Mangel
do you remember cold nights
so frigid that the wind
whistled through the swiss cheese
of our bodies
those nights that any touches
burned and melted
ice
longing for those nights
when a glimpse of
love
flies fiery and white cold
across a black sky
those beautiful night
breath forming clouds
melting on
the horizon
slowly
water dropping
crystals
never cracking
always
turning
on
