An Unnamed Poem

where were we yesterday

after taking off from among

the twigs of the cedars of lebanon

those trees which the

voice of our god breaks like

we break twigs

how high

how high did we fly

towards heaven

in the sky

from the needle bed onto

infinity

how did the wind

grab the soul and gently

rought it

and pull it

and push it

how high

how high did we fly

towards heaven

did we get there

for only by beginning

with the twigs

can we reach so high

yet how high
