A Space Time Machine (1973)

A Space Time Machine

by Marc Mangel

The leather and cloth time space machine

can take you any and more

than where you want to go

just now

wrapped in them

they wrap themselves about you

and their shroud

can fire you through all

they bridge space

they bridge time

and join you with

the eternal ones

who still use

their machines

what is seen

is not

what is felt

is not

what is real

is not

joyous in the

machine

sadness

without

a balm for life and a high

for low

it jolts

and spins

powered by you

the leather and cloth

space time machine

takes you on its

journeys
